The Horicon Wine Wander is a beloved annual event that celebrates local businesses, community spirit, and the simple joy of gathering with friends over a great glass of wine.

Spend an afternoon exploring Horicon as participating businesses transform into unique "Sip Stations," each offering curated wine samples, delicious snacks, special promotions, and a welcoming atmosphere. Whether you're a wine enthusiast, a supporter of local businesses, or simply looking for a fun day out, the Horicon Wine Wander offers something for everyone.

When is the Horicon Wine Wander?
The 2026 Horicon Wine Wander takes place on Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 1:00–6:00 PM throughout Horicon.
What time does check-in begin?
Check-in begins at 12:45 PM. Please arrive early enough to check in and get ready to start your Wine Wander.
Where do I check in?
Check-in will be at Blue Heron Landing in Horicon. (405 Mill St.) This is also where you will turn in your completed punch card to be entered into drawings.
How much are tickets?
Tickets are $40 through September 15, $45 from September 16–October 16, and $55 on the day of the event, if tickets are still available.
What does my ticket include?
Your Wine Wander ticket includes wine samples at all participating Sip Stations, a commemorative wine glass, snacks, a punch card, raffle prize opportunities, and access to the pontoon and antique wagon transportation between select stops.
How many Sip Stations are there?
There are 16 Sip Stations throughout Horicon, each offering its own wine tasting experience and activities.
Do I have to visit every Sip Station?
No! The Wine Wander is designed for you to explore at your own pace. However, completing your punch card gives you the opportunity to enter the raffle prize drawings.
Is the pontoon ride included with my ticket?
Yes! Scenic pontoon transportation between select stops is included with your Wine Wander ticket, thanks to Blue Heron Landing.
Is the antique wagon ride included?
Yes! The antique wagon transportation between select stops is included with your ticket, thanks to the Dodge County Antique Power Club.
Do I have to drink all of my wine at each location?
Yes. Wine samples must be consumed before leaving each participating location. Please drink responsibly.
Is the event 21+?
Yes. The Horicon Wine Wander is a 21+ event. A valid photo ID is required at check-in.
Can I bring someone who is under 21?
No. Because wine tasting is part of the event, all participants must be 21 or older.
Can I purchase tickets at the door?
Day-of tickets may be available for $55, but tickets are limited. We strongly recommend purchasing your ticket in advance.
What should I bring?
Bring your ticket, a valid photo ID, and comfortable shoes! You'll be spending the afternoon exploring Horicon.
What happens if it rains?
The Wine Wander is a rain-or-shine event. Come prepared for Wisconsin weather and dress accordingly!
Where should I park?
There is parking available throughout downtown Horicon. Please park responsibly and be mindful of designated parking areas and local businesses.
Will food be available?
Participating Sip Stations will provide complimentary snacks for Wine Wander participants. Additional food and beverages may also be available for purchase at local businesses along the route.
Can I shop while I Wine Wander?
Absolutely! We encourage you to explore and shop at the local businesses along the route. The Wine Wander is a great opportunity to discover something new in downtown Horicon.

The Horicon Wine Wander is brought to you by the Marsh Area Chamber and the Horicon Phoenix Program. Proceeds from the event help support the Horicon Phoenix Program and Marsh Area Chamber programs.
