Marsha the Marsh Monster - A Community Drawing Contest
The Marsh Area Chamber of Commerce invites artists of all ages to take part in a fun, creative community contest! Help bring Marsha the Marsh Monster to life by drawing your own version and submitting it for a chance to win tickets to tour the beautiful Horicon Marsh, courtesy of Blue Heron Landing.
Whether you’re a young artist or just young at heart, this is a great way to get creative and be part of something fun in the Marsh Area.
Open to ALL ages!
Winners in the ages 4–6, 7–9, and 10–12 categories will receive a class field trip to tour the beautiful Horicon Marsh.
Winners in the 13–17 and 18+ categories will receive a family pack of tickets for a guided tour of the Horicon Marsh.

Participants can work on & submit their artwork throughout the month.

All entries are due to Blue Heron Landing.
(Please keep in mind, they are closed on Monday & Tueadays)
May 26-30
Entries will be posted on the Marsh Area Chamber of Commerce Facebook page for community voting. The entry with the most "likes" WINS!

Contest sheets can be picked up at the following locations throughout the Marsh Area:

Blue Heron Landing serves as the main hub for the contest and is your go-to spot for everything Marsha the Marsh Monster! Stop in to pick up your drawing sheet, explore the beauty of the Horicon Marsh, and return your completed entry here by the deadline.

While you’re out and about in Mayville, stop by Sweet Pea’s to grab your contest sheet. It’s the perfect place to pick one up while enjoying a little local shopping and community charm.

Swing into Open Door Coffeehouse for your favorite drink and pick up a drawing sheet while you’re there. It’s a cozy spot to get inspired before heading home to create your masterpiece.

The Dodge County Center for the Arts is a natural fit for this creative contest! Stop in to pick up your sheet and take in the artistic atmosphere while you’re there—who knows, you might find a little extra inspiration for your version of Marsha.
